Call for IN ESSENCE submissions

The days are getting longer and summer is beckoning, bringing with it a call for industry news for 2011/12 Summer In Essence magazine, due for distribution in late November.

Please get in touch with any key industry news you have including new products, business developments, upcoming plans, milestones or awards by Monday, October 10 at 5pm. Any provided media releases must be between 200 – 300 words. Photos are also really effective to support stories, so please also email images at 300dpi and at least 3mb in size.

As a reminder, In Essence is a trade and media publication with 1200 copies produced for distribution through inbound tour operators, offshore wholesalers, airlines, Tourism New Zealand, the Tourism Industry Association, international and domestic media, professional conference organisers, incentive houses and the TRENZ database.

Please follow the guidelines below when compiling your submissions which must be emailed to jenha@rotoruaNZ.com.

Checklist - Have you answered these questions/issues in your story?

  • Who    – Company name
  • What   – is your new product/service?
  • When – was/will it be introduced?
  • Where – is the product/service based?
  • Why    – has it been introduced?
  • How     – does it operate?
  • So what? – What makes this new product so good and why should it make a difference to the trade we're talking to?
  • Also highlight key points of difference over your competitors – both within Rotorua and beyond.
  • Photograph/s must be 300dpi and minimum 3mb each
  • Provide contact information: contact person, phone number, mobile number, fax number, email and website
